IFTA / IRP PROGRAM
Carries the burden of heavy-duty truck licensing
Non-compliance with jurisdictions’ IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) sticker and apportioned IRP (International Registration Plan) license plate requirements for heavy-duty trucks can incur taxes, penalties and interest. Whether your fleet is 50 or 1000 vehicles, your chances of being audited are equal. ARI’s all inclusive program guarantees IFTA / IRP compliance for leased or owned fleets.
ARI’s experienced licensing specialists are accredited among state agencies, and ARI is entrusted to hold licensing material / inventory in those states that allow this degree of administration. ARI’s processes and systems are designed to ensure accuracy and timeliness. ARI will:
- Order IRP temporary tags;
- Complete and submit all renewals and supplements related to IRP licensing;
- Mail plates, permits, licenses, cab cards and/or all other credentials required;
- File for corrected or replacement cab cards and license plates as necessary;
- Issue and maintain a record of self-issued IRP temporary permits as required by the state;
- Maintain, store and retrieve trip sheets and fuel records as required by IFTA, IRP, mileage tax states or other authorized state agencies.
- Pre-audit trip sheets or GPS mileages prior to state or IFTA audits;
- Complete monthly and/or quarterly state fuel and mileage tax returns;
- Complete specified refund applications where applicable for IFTA taxes;
- Conduct audits on the client’s behalf; and
- Resolve all compliance issues related to state agencies, company errors or state errors.
